Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa
Upon arrival at Bole International Airport, our representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, we can arrange for a city tour to explore the sights and sounds of Addis Ababa, including the National Museum, Merkato, and Entoto Hill. Overnight stay at a hotel in Addis Ababa.
Day 2: Addis Ababa to Awash National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Awash National Park, located in the lowlands east of the country. We will have a stopover at Debre Zeit Crater Lakes, where we can spot several bird species. Upon arrival at Awash, we will have a game drive through the park, observing different wildlife and bird species such as the Abyssinian Roller, Black-billed Wood Hoopoe, and the Golden-breasted Starling. Day 3: Awash National Park

Day 4: Awash to Aledeghi

Day 5: Aledeghi to Lake Langano
Today, we will drive to Lake Langano, one of the Rift Valley Lakes in Ethiopia. Here, we will have a boat ride to explore the lake and its surrounding environment. We will also look out for several bird species such as the African Fish Eagle, Hamerkop, and the Pied Kingfisher. Overnight stay at a lodge in Lake Langano.
Day 6: Lake Langano to Bale Mountains National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Bale Mountains National Park, located at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. Here, we will explore the Sanetti Plateau, home to several bird species such as the Wattled Ibis, Blue-winged Goose, and the Ethiopian Wolf. We will also visit Harenna Forest, an ideal spot for bird watching. Overnight stay at a lodge in Bale Mountains National Park.
Day 7: Bale Mountains National Park
Today, we will explore Bale Mountains National Park further, looking out for the endemic birds such as the Abyssinian Catbird, Yellow-fronted Parrot, and the Bale Parisoma. We will also visit the Bale Mountains Lodge, a renowned birding spot in the region. Overnight stay at a lodge in Bale Mountains National Park.
Day 8: Bale Mountains National Park to Negele
After breakfast, we will drive to Negele, a small town situated in the heart of the Borana region. Here, we will have a chance to spot several bird species such as the Yellow-bellied Waxbill, Red-fronted Tinkerbird, and the White-bellied Bustard. Overnight stay at a lodge in Negele.
Day 9: Negele to Yabello
Today, we will drive to Yabello, a small town known for its birdlife. Here, we will explore the Yabello Wildlife Sanctuary, home to several bird species such as the Somali Long-billed Crombec, White-crowned Starling, and the Yellow-vented Eremomela. Overnight stay at a lodge in Yabello.
Day 10: Yabello to Awasa
After breakfast, we will drive to Awasa, a town located on the shores of Lake Awasa. Here, we will have a boat ride to explore the lake and its surrounding environment. Day 11: Awasa
