Day 1: Arrival in Moshi
Upon your arrival in Moshi, you will be greeted by our team and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax and prepare for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Start of Machame Route
After breakfast, we will drive to the Machame Gate, the starting point of our trek up Mount Kilimanjaro. The Machame Route is known for its beautiful scenery and diverse landscapes. We will hike through rainforests, moorlands, and alpine deserts. Overnight camping at Machame Camp.
Day 3: Shira Camp
Today, we continue our ascent to Shira Camp. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding peaks and valleys. We will set up camp at Shira Camp and enjoy dinner under the starry sky.
Day 4: Barranco Camp
Our trek takes us to Barranco Camp today. Along the way, we will pass the Lava Tower, a volcanic formation. The trail becomes steeper, and we may experience some altitude symptoms. Overnight camping at Barranco Camp.
Day 5: Karanga Camp
We will trek to Karanga Camp, located at the base of the southern glacier of Kibo, Kilimanjaro's highest peak. The landscape becomes more barren, and we will have breathtaking views of the mountain. Overnight camping at Karanga Camp.
Day 6: Barafu Camp
Today, we hike to Barafu Camp, our final camp before the summit push. The trail becomes steeper, and we should take it easy to acclimatize properly. Rest and prepare for the summit attempt. Overnight camping at Barafu Camp.
Day 7: Summit Day - Uhuru Peak
We will start our ascent to the summit in the early hours of the morning. The trek to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, is challenging but rewarding. Witness the breathtaking sunrise from the summit and take in the incredible views. Descend to Mweka Camp for overnight camping.
Day 8: Descend to Moshi
After breakfast, we continue our descent to Mweka Gate. Our team will be waiting to congratulate you on your successful climb. Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi for a well-deserved rest.
Day 9: Lake Manyara National Park
Today, we will drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Explore the park and spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the beautiful scenery. Overnight stay at a lodge near the park.
Day 10: Serengeti National Park
We will head to Serengeti National Park, famous for its annual wildebeest migration. Embark on game drives and witness the incredible wildlife that calls this park home. Spend the night at a lodge or campsite within the park.
Day 11: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, we drive to the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater and enjoy a full day of game viewing. The crater is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the rare black rhino. Overnight stay at a lodge near the crater.
Day 12: Tarangire National Park and Departure
Our final destination is Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees. Enjoy a morning game drive before returning to Moshi. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
