Day 1: Arrival in Addis Ababa
Upon arrival at the airport in Addis Ababa, you will be picked up by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. You will have the rest of the day to relax and acclimatize to the altitude.
Day 2: Addis Ababa to Simien Mountains NP
After breakfast, we drive to Debark, the gateway to the Simien Mountains National Park. The drive takes about 7-8 hours, passing through stunning Ethiopian landscapes. Upon arrival, we will check into our lodge and rest for the evening.
Day 3: Simien Mountains NP
Today we will spend the whole day exploring the Simien Mountains National Park, which is home to several endemic mammal species including the Gelada baboon and the Walia Ibex. We will have a picnic lunch in the park and continue our wildlife spotting until the evening.
Day 4: Simien Mountains NP to Awash NP
After breakfast, we leave the Simien Mountains National Park and drive to Awash National Park. The drive takes about 9-10 hours, passing through stunning landscapes and rural villages. Upon arrival, we will check into our lodge and rest for the evening.
Day 5: Awash NP
Today we will spend the whole day exploring Awash National Park, which is home to several mammal species including the Beisa Oryx, the Soemmerring's Gazelle, and the Hamadryas Baboon. We will have a picnic lunch in the park and continue our wildlife spotting until the evening.
Day 6: Awash NP to Aledeghi
After breakfast, we leave Awash National Park and drive to Aledeghi. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, passing through stunning Ethiopian landscapes. Upon arrival, we will check into our lodge and rest for the evening.
Day 7: Aledeghi to Langano
After breakfast, we leave Aledeghi and drive to Langano. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, passing through stunning landscapes and rural villages. Upon arrival, we will check into our lodge and rest for the evening.
Day 8: Langano to Senkele Sanctuary
After breakfast, we leave Langano and drive to Senkele Sanctuary. The drive takes about 3-4 hours, passing through stunning Ethiopian landscapes. Upon arrival, we will check into our lodge and rest for the evening.
Day 9: Senkele Sanctuary
Today we will spend the whole day exploring Senkele Sanctuary, which is home to several mammal species including the Swayne's Hartebeest, the Greater Kudu, and the Olive Baboon. We will have a picnic lunch in the park and continue our wildlife spotting until the evening.
Day 10: Senkele Sanctuary to Bale Mountains NP
After breakfast, we leave Senkele Sanctuary and drive to Bale Mountains National Park. The drive takes about 4-5 hours, passing through stunning Ethiopian landscapes. Upon arrival, we will check into our lodge and rest for the evening.
Day 11: Bale Mountains NP
Today we will spend the whole day exploring Bale Mountains National Park, which is home to several endemic mammal species including the Ethiopian Wolf and the Mountain Nyala. We will have a picnic lunch in the park and continue our wildlife spotting until the evening.
Day 12: Bale Mountains NP to Addis Ababa
After breakfast, we leave Bale Mountains National Park and drive back to Addis Ababa. The drive takes about 8-9 hours, passing through stunning Ethiopian landscapes. Upon arrival in Addis Ababa, we will have a farewell dinner and transfer to the airport for your flight departure.
