Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe

Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be greeted by your tour guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Entebbe. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey. In the evening, you can explore the town of Entebbe, visit the botanical gardens, or take a sunset boat cruise on Lake Victoria.

Day 2: Fort Portal

After breakfast, depart for Fort Portal, a scenic town located in the western part of Uganda. The journey will take you through beautiful landscapes and rural villages. In the afternoon, visit the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves and hike to the top of the Fort Portal Crater Lake for panoramic views.

Day 3: Semuliki National Park

Embark on an exciting adventure to Semuliki National Park, known for its unique flora and fauna. Explore the park on a guided nature walk and discover the hot springs, bird species, and wildlife. Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Enjoy a game drive through the park, searching for lions, elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife.

Day 5: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today, head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world's population of mountain gorillas. Prepare for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience the next day by relaxing and enjoying the serene surroundings of the park.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking

Embark on a thrilling gorilla trekking adventure in Bwindi National Park. Hike through the dense forest, guided by experienced trackers, until you find a gorilla family. Spend an hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat, an experience that will leave a lasting impression.

Day 7: Rest and Relaxation

Take a well-deserved rest day after the strenuous gorilla trekking. Reflect on your amazing encounter with the gorillas and enjoy the tranquility of the park. You can opt for a guided nature walk or simply relax at your lodge.

Day 8: Transfer to Mbarara

Leave Bwindi National Park and drive to Mbarara, a bustling town in southwestern Uganda. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of the countryside and stop at local markets to interact with the locals. Arrive in Mbarara in the afternoon and check into your hotel.

Day 9: Cultural Experience in Mbarara

Today, immerse yourself in the local culture of Mbarara. Visit the Igongo Cultural Center, which showcases the history and traditions of the Ankole Kingdom. Learn about traditional medicine, pottery, and enjoy a traditional dance performance. In the evening, taste the local cuisine at a Ugandan buffet.

Day 10: Wildlife Safari in Lake Mburo National Park

Embark on a wildlife safari in Lake Mburo National Park, located between Mbarara and Kampala. Take a game drive through the park to spot zebras, impalas, elands, and other wildlife. Enjoy a boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you can see hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.

Day 11: Return to Entebbe

After breakfast, depart for Entebbe. On the way, stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity and visit the crafts market to purchase souvenirs. Arrive in Entebbe in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 12: Departure

Bid farewell to Uganda as you transfer to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight. Take with you memories of the rich cultural experiences and incredible encounters with the mountain gorillas.
