Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be welcomed by our representative who will transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and recover from your journey, and prepare for the exciting adventure ahead.
Day 2: Entebbe - Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, we will depart for Lake Mburo National Park. Enjoy a scenic drive through the countryside, observing the beautiful landscapes and traditional Ugandan villages along the way. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a thrilling game drive through the park, where you can spot zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and various bird species. End the day with a peaceful boat cruise on Lake Mburo, watching hippos and crocodiles in their natural habitat.
Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park
Wake up early for a guided nature walk in the park, accompanied by a ranger who will provide insights into the flora and fauna. Explore the park on foot, getting closer to the wildlife and enjoying the serene environment. After the walk, return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can choose to go for another game drive or simply relax and take in the tranquility of the surroundings.
Day 4: Lake Mburo National Park - Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After breakfast, we will drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through stunning landscapes and rural communities. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you can take a village walk to interact with the local community and learn about their traditions and way of life.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today is the highlight of your safari - gorilla trekking! After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the knowledgeable rangers. Then, embark on an unforgettable trek through the forest, tracking the gorillas in their natural habitat. Once you find them, spend a magical hour observing and photographing these incredible creatures. After the trek, return to the lodge and relax, reflecting on the incredible experience.
Day 6: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the park, where you can spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and an abundance of bird species. End the day with a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can observe hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Today, wake up early for a morning game drive in the park, when the animals are most active. Explore the different ecosystems of the park, including savannah grasslands, forests, and wetlands, providing a diverse range of wildlife sightings. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take an optional excursion, such as a chimpanzee trek in Kyambura Gorge.
Day 8: Queen Elizabeth National Park - Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Kibale Forest National Park, renowned for its population of chimpanzees and other primates. Enjoy the scenic drive through tea plantations and rolling hills. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, go for a guided nature walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary, where you can spot various bird species and primates such as colobus monkeys and baboons.
Day 9: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National Park
Today, get ready for an incredible chimpanzee trekking experience in Kibale Forest. After breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before venturing into the forest. Trek through the dense vegetation, listening to the sounds of the forest and keeping an eye out for chimpanzees. Once you find them, spend an hour observing their behavior and interactions. After the trek, return to the lodge and relax.
Day 10: Kibale Forest National Park - Entebbe
After breakfast, we will drive back to Entebbe, enjoying the scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and have lunch. In the afternoon, you can explore the nearby attractions, such as the Entebbe Botanical Gardens or the Uganda Wildlife Education Center. In the evening, enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant, celebrating the incredible wildlife adventure you have experienced.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for your departure. Bid farewell to Uganda, carrying unforgettable memories of your wildlife adventure safari. Safe travels!
