Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our professional guide will be waiting to welcome you to Uganda. You will be transferred to your mid-range accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala, where you can relax and prepare for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, we will embark on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda. This park is known for its diverse wildlife, including zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and a variety of bird species. Upon arrival, you will check-in at your chosen mid-range accommodation and have some time to relax before an evening game drive.
Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Safari in Lake Mburo National Park
Start your day with an early morning game drive, where you will have the opportunity to spot wildlife in their natural habitat. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Mburo, where you will have a chance to see hippos, crocodiles, and various water bird species.
Day 4: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today, we will leave Lake Mburo National Park and head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The drive will take you through beautiful scenery and local communities. Upon arrival in Bwindi, check-in at your mid-range accommodation and prepare for an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience.
Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early and have a hearty breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing about gorilla trekking. You will then embark on a thrilling adventure into the dense jungle in search of the gentle giants. Spend an hour observing and interacting with a gorilla family, a truly magical experience. Afterward, return to your lodge and relax.
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most diverse and scenic parks. En route, enjoy stunning views of the Rwenzori Mountains and the Albertine Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check-in at your mid-range accommodation and relax.
Day 7: Game Drives and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you will have a chance to spot lions, elephants, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast and some leisure time. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel, known for its abundant hippos, crocodiles, and birdlife.
Day 8: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge
Today, we will venture into Kyambura Gorge for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. Trek through the lush forest and observe these incredible primates in their natural habitat. Along the way, you may also encounter other primate species and a variety of birdlife. After the trek, return to the lodge and relax.
Day 9: Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, we will drive back to Entebbe, with a stopover at the Equator for a photo opportunity. Upon arrival in Entebbe, check-in at your mid-range accommodation and spend the rest of the day at leisure. You can explore the local markets, visit the botanical gardens, or simply relax by the shores of Lake Victoria.
Day 10: Departure
Sadly, it's time to say goodbye to the beautiful country of Uganda. After breakfast, our guide will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight. We hope you had an unforgettable experience and look forward to welcoming you back for more adventures in the future.
