Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe Airport

Upon your arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative who will assist you with the immigration formalities. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe for a relaxing evening.

Day 2: Entebbe to Lake Mburo National Park

After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Mburo National Park, which is approximately a 4-hour drive from Entebbe. Upon arrival, you will check into your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Mburo, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. After the boat safari, you will go for an evening game drive to see the park's wildlife, including zebras, impalas, and buffalos. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Game Drives and Nature Walks in Lake Mburo

Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch a glimpse of the park's predators, such as lions and leopards. Lake Mburo National Park is also known for its large herds of impalas, elands, and topis. After the game drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and relax for a while. In the afternoon, take a guided nature walk through the park to explore its diverse flora and fauna. You may encounter zebras, giraffes, and various primate species. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4: Lake Mburo to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

After breakfast, depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its population of mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through scenic landscapes and picturesque villages. Arrive at your lodge in Bwindi in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Today is the highlight of your Uganda safari as you embark on an unforgettable gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette and safety. You will then be assigned a gorilla family to track. Trekking through the dense forest can be challenging but immensely rewarding. Once you find the gorillas, spend a magical hour observing their behavior and taking photographs. Afterward, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest and overnight stay.

Day 6: Optional Activities in Bwindi

Today, you have the option to either go for a second gorilla trekking experience (additional permit required) or engage in other activities offered in Bwindi, such as guided nature walks, bird watching, or visiting the local community. This is a great opportunity to learn about the culture and traditions of the Batwa people. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 7: Bwindi to Entebbe

After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi and start your journey back to Entebbe. Enjoy the scenic drive and make stops along the way to take in the beautiful landscapes. Arrive in Entebbe in the evening and check into your hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 8-9: Leisure Time in Entebbe

These two days are dedicated to leisure activities in Entebbe. You can relax by the shores of Lake Victoria, visit the Entebbe Botanical Gardens, or take a boat trip to Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary. Explore the local markets for souvenirs or indulge in the city's culinary delights. Dinner and overnight stay at your hotel.

Day 10: Departure from Entebbe Airport

After breakfast, depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred to Entebbe Airport for your departure. Bid farewell to Uganda with beautiful memories of your incredible safari experience in the Pearl of Africa.
