Day 1: Entebbe Airport to Kampala
Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will transfer you to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. Check-in at your budget accommodation and spend the rest of the day at leisure, exploring the vibrant markets and local attractions in Kampala.
Day 2: Kampala to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful scenery. Upon arrival, check-in at your budget lodge and enjoy a game drive in the park, where you can spot zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and various bird species. In the evening, take a boat safari on Lake Mburo to observe hippos and crocodiles up close.
Day 3: Lake Mburo National Park
Today, embark on a morning nature walk with an experienced guide, allowing you to explore the park's flora and fauna in more detail. Afterward, enjoy a picnic lunch and then head out for an afternoon game drive. In the evening, relax at your lodge and enjoy the tranquility of the park.
Day 4: Lake Mburo National Park to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of Uganda's most popular safari destinations. Arrive at your budget accommodation and have lunch. In the afternoon, take a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, elephants, and various bird species.
Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you have a high chance of spotting lions, elephants, buffaloes, and other wildlife. Afterward, return to the lodge for breakfast and relax. In the afternoon, visit the Ishasha sector for a chance to see the famous tree-climbing lions.
Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Today, we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. The journey will take you through scenic landscapes and local villages. Upon arrival, check-in at your budget accommodation and rest for the day, preparing for the gorilla trekking experience.
Day 7: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. With an experienced guide, embark on an exhilarating trek through the forest in search of gorilla families. Once you find them, spend a magical hour observing and photographing these gentle giants. Afterward, return to the lodge and relax.
Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest to Lake Bunyonyi
Leave Bwindi and drive to Lake Bunyonyi, a stunning lake dotted with numerous islands. Enjoy a relaxing boat ride on the lake, visit the Batwa community, or simply unwind and take in the breathtaking scenery. Overnight at a budget lodge overlooking the lake.
Day 9: Lake Bunyonyi to Kampala
After breakfast, depart from Lake Bunyonyi and drive back to Kampala. Upon arrival, check-in at your budget accommodation and spend the remaining day at leisure. You can explore the city, visit local markets, or indulge in some souvenir shopping.
Day 10: Departure
It's time to say goodbye to Uganda. After breakfast, our representative will transfer you to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable budget tour in Uganda.
