Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Welcome to Arusha! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to rest and acclimate to the local surroundings. In the evening, you will meet with your safari guide for a briefing on the exciting adventure that lies ahead.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, depart from Arusha and head towards Tarangire National Park. Known for its large elephant herds, baobab trees, and diverse wildlife, Tarangire offers a unique safari experience. Enjoy game drives in the park, capturing glimpses of lions, zebras, giraffes, and more. Overnight stay at a lodge or campsite within the park.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Descend into the crater floor, which is home to an abundance of wildlife, including the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard). Enjoy a picnic lunch amidst the stunning scenery. Later in the afternoon, ascend to the crater rim for overnight stay at a lodge or campsite.
Day 4-6: Serengeti National Park
Embark on a thrilling journey to the world-famous Serengeti National Park. Spend the next three days exploring this vast wilderness, known for its annual wildebeest migration. Witness the dramatic river crossings and observe predators in action. Game drives in the Serengeti provide countless opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, zebras, and other iconic wildlife. Overnight stays at lodges or campsites within the park.
Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park
Leave the Serengeti behind and head to Lake Manyara National Park. Famous for its tree-climbing lions and diverse birdlife, this park offers a unique safari experience. Enjoy game drives around the lake, spotting elephants, hippos, flamingos, and other fascinating wildlife. Overnight stay at a lodge or campsite near the park.
Day 8-10: Return to Arusha and Departure
After breakfast, return to Arusha where you can spend the remaining days at leisure. Explore the local markets, visit cultural sites, or simply relax at your hotel. On the last day, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight, bidding farewell to Tanzania and taking home unforgettable memories of your wildlife and migration safari.
