Day 1: Addis Ababa
Arrive in Addis Ababa and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day exploring the city, visiting the National Museum, and trying local cuisine.
Day 2: Arba Minch
Drive to Arba Minch, stopping at the Tiya UNESCO World Heritage Site and the Adadi Mariam rock-hewn church. Arrive in Arba Minch in the evening and check into your hotel.
Day 3: Lake Chamo and Nech Sar National Park
Take a boat ride on Lake Chamo to see hippos and crocodiles, and then head to Nech Sar National Park for a game drive. Return to Arba Minch for the night.
Day 4: Jinka
Drive to Jinka, stopping at the Dorze village to see their unique bamboo houses and weaving techniques. Arrive in Jinka in the afternoon and visit the South Omo Research Center and the local market.
Day 5: Mursi and Bodi tribes
Drive to Mago National Park to visit the Mursi tribe known for their lip plates, and then head to the Bodi tribe to see their unique body painting and scarification. Return to Jinka for the night.
Day 6: Turmi
Drive to Turmi, stopping at the Key Afer market and the Konso tribe village. Arrive in Turmi in the afternoon and visit a Hamer tribe village.
Day 7: Dimeka market and Karo tribe
Visit the Dimeka market, where local tribes come to buy and sell goods, and then head to a Karo tribe village. Return to Turmi for the night.
Day 8: Yirga Alem
Drive to Yirga Alem, stopping at the Konso tribe UNESCO World Heritage Site and various coffee plantations. Arrive in Yirga Alem in the evening and check into your hotel.
Day 9: Bale Mountains National Park
Drive to Bale Mountains National Park and go on a game drive to see the park's wildlife, including the Ethiopian wolf. Visit the Sanetti Plateau and the Harenna Forest. Return to Yirga Alem for the night.
Day 10: Addis Ababa
Drive back to Addis Ababa, stopping at the Rift Valley Lakes and the Awash National Park to see the park's hot springs and waterfalls. Depart from Addis Ababa.
