Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the immigration process and transfer you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and adjust to the new surroundings.
Day 2: Explore Entebbe
After breakfast, embark on a city tour of Entebbe. Visit the Uganda Wildlife Education Centre, where you can see a variety of animals up close. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Victoria and visit the beautiful Botanical Gardens. In the afternoon, take a stroll along the Entebbe Pier and enjoy the sunset.
Day 3: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, drive to Lake Mburo National Park, located in western Uganda. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, go for a game drive and spot wildlife such as zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and giraffes. Enjoy a boat ride on Lake Mburo, where you can see hippos and crocodiles.
Day 4: Game Drive and Nature Walk
Start the day with an early morning game drive to catch a glimpse of the park's early risers. After breakfast, go for a nature walk with a knowledgeable guide who will introduce you to the park's flora and fauna. In the afternoon, relax at your lodge or take part in optional activities such as horseback riding or cycling.
Day 5: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its diverse wildlife and stunning landscapes. En route, stop at the Equator for a photo opportunity. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, go for a game drive and look out for elephants, lions, leopards, and more.
Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Safari
Start the day with a thrilling game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you can spot lions, buffaloes, antelopes, and various bird species. Enjoy lunch at the lodge and then embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel. Marvel at the hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife that call the channel home.
Day 7: Chimpanzee Tracking in Kyambura Gorge
Today, head to Kyambura Gorge for an exciting chimpanzee tracking experience. Trek through the dense forest with an experienced guide and observe these fascinating primates in their natural habitat. Afterward, visit the nearby Maramagambo Forest for a guided nature walk and explore the bat caves.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to over half of the world's remaining mountain gorillas. Enjoy the scenic journey through rural Uganda and arrive at your lodge in the afternoon. Rest and prepare for the gorilla trekking adventure the next day.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking
Today is the highlight of your Uganda experience - gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Embark on a thrilling trek through the dense forest, led by experienced guides who will track the gorilla families. Spend an unforgettable hour observing these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
Day 10: Return to Entebbe
After breakfast, bid farewell to Bwindi and drive back to Entebbe. Enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way and have a chance to stop at local markets for souvenirs. Upon arrival in Entebbe, our representative will transfer you to the airport for your departure flight.
