Welcome to the 10-day Bwindi Gorillas and Mafia Island itinerary, starting from Dar es Salaam Airport and covering Entebbe, Bwindi National Park, Dar es Salaam, and Mafia Island. Day 1: Arrival in Dar es Salaam
Upon your arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport, you will be greeted by our representative who will assist you with the immigration formalities and transfer you to your hotel. Take this day to relax and unwind, exploring the vibrant city on your own.
Day 2: Flight to Entebbe
Board a domestic flight from Dar es Salaam to Entebbe, Uganda. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Entebbe. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, preparing for the exciting journey ahead.
Day 3-6: Bwindi National Park
Embark on a scenic drive from Entebbe to Bwindi National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Spend the next four days immersing yourself in the lush rainforests, tracking gorilla families, and witnessing these incredible creatures up close. Day 7-9: Dar es Salaam
After bidding farewell to the gorillas, return to Entebbe and catch a flight back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel. Spend the next three days exploring the vibrant city, visiting cultural sites, indulging in delicious local cuisine, and relaxing on the sandy beaches.
Day 10: Mafia Island
Board a domestic flight from Dar es Salaam to Mafia Island, a hidden paradise in the Indian Ocean. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your beachfront resort. Spend the day snorkeling, diving, or simply lounging by the crystal-clear waters. Enjoy the tranquility of this remote island and marvel at the stunning marine life.
